How can you offer "lifetime free hosting"? What's the catch?
There's no catch. We build your website with the ultra-efficient Astro framework, which allows it to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages' enterprise-grade platform. Cloudflare offers a very generous free tier for static websites, and our service includes setting you up to qualify for it.
"Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of Cloudflare's free plan. In the highly unlikely event that Cloudflare (a multi-billion dollar company) changes its free tier, you would be responsible for any future hosting fees, just as you are for your annual domain renewal. This is also covered in our T&C.
Who owns the website after completion?
You do. The handover happens in two stages:
- On Day 7: We deliver 100% root access to your dedicated GitHub account (holding your code) and Cloudflare account (controlling your hosting). You have full control.
- After 60 Days: We transfer the domain registration to your personal Namecheap account. This delay is a mandatory anti-fraud policy (the "60-day lock") set by ICANN, the global authority for domains.
For the 12-month maintenance period, we retain administrator access (with your permission) to apply updates. You can revoke this at any time.
